At Traditional Martial Arts Academy of Austin, our adult students learn Pyon Moo Do, or "The Warrior Path of Transformation”. The curriculum is built around traditional Korean martial arts, which provide a depth and diversity that offers a solid foundation for our students and include striking, grappling, joint locks and weaponry. Additionally, our students learn from Chinese, Japanese and Filipino systems.

The primary adult curriculum at Traditional Martial Arts Academy is Weigong ("Way-Gong") training. This aspect of our adult program will help you to reveal your full potential with high-energy classes designed to safely and effectively rebuild your body. You will be amazed at how strong, fast and flexible you become! Our curriculum is very rich and diverse, keeping classes interesting and fun. You will be learning techniques that are hundreds of years old and shown how they are applied in a modern context. These techniques are powerful and effective. Plus, with our supportive, non-competitive environment, you will progress at your own pace while making new friends.

Adults will also learn some Neigong ("Nay-Gong") techniques at Traditional Martial Arts Academy as part of their martial arts training. This will allow you to connect with the quiet power within through "internal" exercise and practice--Tai Chi, Qigong ("Chee-gong") and meditation.
